Are you looking to build your own custom AR-15? With an AR-15 kit, it's never been easier! With a few tools and some basic instructions, you can have your own customized AR-15 in no time. In this blog post, we will provide a step-by-step guide on creating your own custom AR-15 using AR-15 kits. So, if you're ready to dive into the world of building an AR-15, let's get started!

Gather the needed materials

If you’re looking to build your own AR-15, you will need a few key components. To get started, head over to gunbuilders.com and browse their selection of AR-15 kits. These kits provide all the necessary parts and pieces you will need to build a complete AR-15. Depending on the type of rifle you’re looking to build, you may need additional items such as barrels, stocks, triggers, and optics. Gunbuilders.com has all of these components for sale, so be sure to check out their selection before making any purchases. Once you have all the necessary parts, you can begin assembling your ar 15 kits.

Choose your configuration

When it comes to building your own custom AR-15, the first step is choosing your configuration. There are many factors to consider when selecting components, including barrel length, barrel profile, type of chambering, and caliber. At gunbuilders.com you can find a wide variety of kits that provide parts for any AR-15 configuration you might want to build.

To help you decide on the right components for your build, start by asking yourself what type of shooting you’ll be doing with your custom AR-15. For example, if you plan to use your rifle for target practice, you may want to opt for a heavier barrel and a longer sight radius. If you plan on hunting with your AR-15, you may want to go for a lighter barrel and a shorter sight radius for quick maneuverability in the field.

Once you’ve determined the type of shooting you’ll be doing, it’s time to look at the individual components. Start by looking at the barrel - consider its length and profile, as well as what kind of chambering it has. Also consider the type of gas system the kit provides - direct impingement, piston-driven, or a hybrid system. Finally, decide on the caliber of the rifle - the most popular are 5.56x45mm NATO, .223 Wylde, and 6.8 SPC II.

At gunbuilders.com, you can choose from a variety of components to build your custom AR-15. Whether you’re looking for a lightweight setup for hunting or a more robust setup for target shooting, there’s an AR-15 kit available to meet your needs. So choose wisely and start building!

Assemble the Lower Receiver

Assembling the lower receiver of your custom AR-15 is an important step in creating your own firearm. This is the part that houses the trigger and magazine release, so it is important to make sure everything is put together correctly. Follow these steps to assemble the lower receiver of your custom AR-15.

·         Insert the buffer tube into the rear portion of the lower receiver and secure it with a castle nut and locking plate. Make sure to use a torque wrench to tighten it correctly.

·         Attach the takedown pin and pivot pin to the lower receiver. You may need to use a punch and hammer to tap the pins in place.

·         Insert the safety selector and grip into their respective holes in the lower receiver. Use a screwdriver to tighten them in place.

·         Insert the bolt catch, magazine release, and trigger into their respective holes in the lower receiver and secure them with screws. Make sure everything is properly aligned and tightened securely.

·         Put the bolt catch plunger and spring into their respective holes in the lower receiver. Secure them with a pin or screw.

·         Place the trigger guard into its slot in the lower receiver and secure it with two screws. Make sure they are tightened correctly.

·         Slide the buffer retainer onto the end of the buffer tube and secure it with a spring and screw. Make sure everything is tightened correctly.

Now that you have successfully assembled the lower receiver of your custom AR-15, you can move on to the next step - assembling the upper receiver!
