BNM Institute of Technology (BNMIT) is a private engineering college in Bangalore, Karnataka. Established in 2009 by the Bhuvaneshwari Education Society, it offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering disciplines such as computer science and electronics engineering.
The institute was ranked among the top institutes in India by Engineering Quacquarelli Symonds (EQS), which surveyed more than 200 colleges across India before releasing its rankings on 7 July 2018.[1] It belongs to ABVP's state unit Karnataka State Vidyapeeths' Association.[2]
BNMIT is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Hostel facilities: There are two hostels for boys and girls. These are named after their respective presidents, Mr. C.P. Ramaswamy and Dr. Nalini Balakrishnan respectively. The hostels have a capacity of 500 students each with separate rooms, bathrooms, and dining halls.

Library: The library has a collection of around 15000 books which include the latest journals as well as classics like ‘The Mahabharata’ by Vyasa and ‘The Complete Works of Shakespeare’ edited by William Shakespeare (1564-1616), etc., along with many other rare books that can be accessed only here at the institute library or through interlibrary loan system if needed by students who want access these valuable resources for their research work or just browsing through them to see what sort of information they contain!
The library is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on all working days and students are allowed access to it between 10:30 am and 12:00 noon for reading books. The library also has newspapers, magazines, and journals that can be accessed by students as per their needs. There is a separate section in the library where they keep all kinds of books related to engineering, management sciences, etc., which students can use freely during their visits.

The admission process of the BNMIT
The admission process to the BNMIT is quite easy and simple. You need to submit your application form online and pay an amount of Rs. 5000/- as a fee. You can get your to admit card through SMS or email within 3 days after getting your application form submitted by submitting the same along with the required documents at [email protected]
The BNMIT entrance exam is conducted in a single day, and the time duration of the exam is 2 hours. You will be provided with instructions regarding the examination procedure by email or SMS. The question paper consists of objective-type questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
You need to get a minimum score of 50% on the entrance test to qualify for the BNMIT admission process. The admission procedure is very simple and flexible. You will be required to submit your application form and self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, etc.
