Dubai Tourist Visa For Filipino:
Dubai is one of the most sought-after destinations in Asia. It offers picturesque views and exciting experiences that are significantly different from the rest of the exotic nature of Asia. Unfortunately, Philippine passport holders are still required to go through the visa application process before entering Dubai. To make the process easier, Klook has put together a step-by-step guide to applying for a Dubai tourist visa. Look at it!
How to apply for a Dubai/UAE visa:
You will need to get a sponsor before you apply for a Dubai visa. This could be a friend or relative currently living in Dubai, an airline, hotel, or travel agency. Without a sponsor, your applications will not be processed, so take note!
For airlines, we recommend asking either Etihad or Emirates.
For hotels, you can simply contact the hotel you are interested in booking and ask if they offer visa services. Most Dubai hotels often do this so it shouldn’t be a problem.
For travel agencies, you can only apply to agencies based in Dubai. Note that their prices may be a bit more expensive than others!
There are three types of visas to choose from transit, tourist, and visitor. In this visa guide, we will discuss tourist visa requirements. However, here is an overview of each visa type for your reference:
Visit Visa – sponsored by relatives or friends living in the UAE. Available for 30 days or 90 days.
Tourist Visa – Tourists can stay in the UAE for 30 days under the sponsorship of UAE airlines, hotels, and travel agencies.
Transit Visa – valid for 96 hours for 14 days from the date of issue provided you (a) have a valid passport and a confirmed booking to a third destination or (b) must leave the UAE within 96 hours of arrival or 14 days after the visa is issued or ( c) have a confirmed hotel reservation in the United Arab Emirates
There are not many requirements when applying for a Dubai visa. However, depending on who your sponsor is, additional requirements may be required of you. For example, if you say that Emirates or Etihad Airways will sponsor your visa, you will need to submit your flight details with the rest of the application.
